Pillsbury with the iconic “Dough Boy” mascot, has found widespread franchise in the Indian market through its flour/atta offering. Since then, they’ve extended to related categories like Cake Mixes, Custard Powder, Icing Sugar, etc.
Pillsbury launched an easy-to-make dessert mix, a “No Bake Cheesecake”. This new offering simplifies western dessert making and removes all apprehensions/fear of failure that Indian consumers usually associate with making western desserts. The cheesecake was to be launched in two variants – Chocolate & Strawberry.
So our visual identity brought alive this messaging of a delicious dessert that’s also very easy to make. With a drool-worthy image of the cake on the packaging and the iconic Pillsbury Dough Boy on the side. The Pillsbury lineage of the dessert was further amplified with the Pillsbury blue band on the side.
